iPhone 13 production cuts, Apple’s global suppliers’ stock prices plummet

Apple’s supplier stock prices fell on Wednesday after the news that iPhone 13’s output this year may be reduced by as much as 10 million units due to the chip shortage crisis.

Japan Display is Apple’s screen supplier, and more than half of its revenue comes from Apple. The company’s stock price fell as high as 5.6% today, the biggest drop in two months, down 2.78% as of press time. South Korea’s LG Innotek supplies camera modules for the iPhone. Apple’s acoustic component supplier AAC Technologies issued a profit warning due to supply chain issues, and its stock price has fallen by more than 10% since last Thursday.
