Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition is an enhanced version of the Wii U game Mario Kart 8. This game was officially launched in 2017 and was launched two months after the NS console was launched. It includes all the previously launched DLC, gameplay adjustments, debut characters and battle modes.
Nintendo has recently updated the list of best-selling games for NS games, and Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition is unsurprisingly at the forefront. Moreover, Carriage 8 also set a new sales record, becoming the best-selling game in the series.

As of September 30 this year, the NS platform Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition has sold 38.74 million units. For comparison, the total sales of NS consoles are 92.87 million units, which means that about 40% of NS console players have purchased Mario Kart 8: Deluxe Edition. The second-ranked work in the series is the Wii version of Mario Kart, which sold 37.38 million sets. However, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Edition is still on sale, which means that sales will increase further.
The original version of Mario Kart 8 Wii U sold 8.46 million units, which was obviously affected by the sluggish console sales. The 3DS version of Mario Kart 7 sold 18.95 million units, while Mario Kart DS sold 23.6 million units.
