Firefox Lockwise stopped supporting related features on December 13 and integrated into Firefox

Mozilla announced this week that it will end support for the Firefox Lockwise app on Android and iOS. The function of the application has been integrated into the Firefox browser, providing users with a feature-rich password management experience.

Firefox Lockwise was originally launched in 2018 under the name Lockbox and was limited to the iOS platform at the time. In 2019, the application will land on the Android platform. In the same year, it was renamed Lockwise and was also released as an extension of Firefox.

Mozilla Says

Mozilla will end support for the Firefox Lockwise application on Android and iOS from December 13, 2021. You will no longer be able to install or reinstall Firefox Lockwise from the App Store or Google Play Store. iOS version 1.8.1 and Android version 4.0.3 will be the last version of Firefox Lockwise. The app may continue to run on your device, but it will no longer receive support or security updates. After December 13, 2021, you can continue to access your saved passwords and your password management in Firefox desktop and mobile browsers.

Although users who have installed the application can continue to use them to access the saved content and use the functions provided by the application. Mozilla recommends not to do this because there will not be any support or security updates in the future.
