Just over a month ago, the announcement of Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro was also accompanied by numerous software innovations, some of which aimed at enhancing the already much appreciated At a Glance widget.
After the adoption of the new Material, You of Android 12 and the announcement of new information ready to increase the usefulness and interactivity of the At a Glance widget, the analysis of the APK of the latest update of the Android System Intelligence app (ASI) from version S9 to S10 for the Google Pixel 6 has brought out strings of code that describe new capabilities of smart space (the name with which the Google app refers to At a Glance).

Indeed, some of the functions referred to are already available for Made by Google smartphones, both the latest and the oldest. Particularly:
- Commute & Time to Leave: allows you to see traffic and Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA)
- Current weather
- Alerts: any weather alerts
- Travel: Flights via Gmail
- Upcoming: events and reminders from Calendar
- Word Profile: Events and reminders from the Work Profile Calendar

ASI appears to replicate the widget settings page currently on the Pixel Launcher:
Your Assistant shows you what you need, right when you need it, on your home screen and lock screen.
The real news to come, however, are others and they are also numerous. Here they are:
- At a store: shopping lists and loyalty cards from Google Pay in supported stores
- Bedtime: The next scheduled sleep on Google Clock
- Connected devices: connection status and battery percentage of connected Bluetooth devices
- Doorbell: Shows who is at the door when the doorbell rings
- Fitness: Activity information from the fitness app
- Flashlight: Reminder when the flash is on
- Safety check: Safety check countdown from the Personal Safety app
- Timer & stopwatch: timers and stopwatches from Google Clock.
Not all these news are unpublished, in fact At a store had already appeared in a teaser of Material You, while Timer & stopwatch has been present since Android 12 was still in Beta. The functions related to connected Bluetooth devices and integration with Nest Doorbells are rather interesting news. Said of the usefulness of the reminder for the flash-on, the other innovations highlight the desire of Google to integrate the At a Glance widget with a greater number of applications.
At present, there is a trace of this update only with reference to Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro, but its arrival on other models of the Pixel series through new releases of ASI is not excluded.
