OnePlus could present its new top-of-the-range, the OnePlus 10 Pro, in advance of traditional timing. The launch event of the new flagship could, in fact, be around the corner. According to what was revealed today by the insider Max Jambor, OnePlus has organized a launch event for next January 5 in Las Vegas. The event is scheduled in parallel with the opening of the new edition of the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which can represent the ideal showcase to officially present a project of great importance such as the new OnePlus 10 Pro.
At the moment, it is unclear whether OnePlus will present both the OnePlus 10 and the OnePlus 10 Pro at the event on January 5th. The choice of Las Vegas and CES as the venue for the presentation could also represent the confirmation of an immediate global launch of the new OnePlus smartphones. According to rumors of a few weeks ago, however, OnePlus should launch the new OnePlus 10 first in China (by January 2022) and then in the rest of the world (between March and April 2022).
It should be noted that the image of the invitation to the OnePlus event released by Max Jambor makes no reference to the presentation of new smartphones. There is, therefore, the possibility that the company chooses to unveil other products at the event that will take place in just under a month. Already in the coming weeks, new official teasers could arrive that can clarify what will be the news that OnePlus will present at the beginning of 2022.

The specifications of the new OnePlus 10 Pro
The new OnePlus 10 Pro has long been at the center of various rumors, related in particular to the technical datasheet. The new OnePlus flagship will be able to count on the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC also arriving on another top of the Android range over the next few weeks starting with the new Moto Edge X30 and Xiaomi 12. The smartphone will also be able to count on a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with Quad HD + resolution and a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Among the technical specifications of the new OnePlus 10 Pro, we will find various combinations of RAM and storage with up to 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 internal memory as well as a 5,000 mAh battery with 125 W fast charging support. The smartphone will come with “stock” Android 12, customized with OxygenOS 12 which could integrate some new software features.
The photographic sector of the new OnePlus top of the range will include a triple rear camera with a 48 Megapixel main sensor, a 50 Megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and an 8 megapixel telephoto lens. The front camera will be 32 Megapixels. The photographic sector of the smartphone will carry the signature of Hasselblad, a company with which OnePlus has started a new partnership.
