Musk announces the launch of the Tesla FSD Beta 10.8

On Tuesday, local time in the United States, Elon Musk announced that it is pushing a complete full self-driving (FSD) test version of 10.7 software to Tesla. He previously said that they would skip version 10.7 and go directly to version 10.8. However, just today (December 23, local time), Musk unexpectedly posted on Twitter that version 10.8 will be launched today.

Musk had previously stated that Tesla would launch FSD Beta 10.8 to people with a safety score of around 97 points, but he did not absolutely confirm this at the time. However, he also confirmed that the new software stack will support FSD navigation waypoints-this is considered to be included in the holiday package update, the update should also be launched today.

Musk also said that Tesla will introduce an option to adjust the sensitivity of Sentry Mode, but he did not give a time scale.
