OnePlus 10 Pro: in action in the first hands-on video (unofficial)

Here we are. Everything is really ready for the official debut of the new OnePlus 10 Pro. The smartphone, almost ready for the start of sales in China (for Europe we will have to wait a few more weeks), is the protagonist of a new leak a few hours from the official presentation scheduled for tomorrow.

The Instagram account, the.oneplus.hub, has, in fact, released a short hands-on video that shows us, for the first time, the new OnePlus smartphone live. This video is the right opportunity to fully evaluate the design of the smartphone and, in particular, the module of the rear cameras.

Even live, therefore, the stark contrast between the camera module is confirmed, which bears the “signature” of the Hasselblad brand on one side. This is a solution that, whether positive or negative, will certainly cause discussion. It should also be noted that the same account has also released some photos of the smartphone by comparing the two colors provided, the Emerald Forest and the Volcanic Black (also the protagonist of the hands-on video).

Also coming in white version

The new OnePlus 10 Pro should still present some surprises, despite the numerous leaks and also the arrival of the first official images of the smartphone. In addition to the Emerald Forest and Volcanic Black variants, in fact, the smartphone could also arrive in a third color variant. This is the White version. This version could arrive on the market with a different name (with an adjective able to specify the type of white. This version could be exclusive to some markets and/or could be unveiled by OnePlus at a later time.

The latest on technical specifications

A lot has been said about the new OnePlus 10 Pro but the points to be clarified, in particular for the technical sector, remain. Waiting for the official presentation, new details have arrived in these hours relating to the technical specifications of the photographic sector of the new smartphone. For several weeks already, it has been known that the new smartphone from OnePlus will arrive on the market with a triple rear camera with 48 Megapixel main sensor, 50 Megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor and 8 Megapixel telephoto lens.

The exact details regarding these sensors are not yet known. Today, however, the insider Yogesh Brar has unveiled what should be the sensors mounted by the new top of the range of OnePlus. The smartphone should be able to count on a 48 Megapixel Sony IMX789 main sensor. The 50 Megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor, on the other hand, will be a Samsung S5KJN1SQO – JN1 and will have a field of view of 150 degrees. An OmniVision OV08A10 will be used for the telephoto lens.

To complete the technical specifications of the new OnePlus smartphone we will find an OLED LTPO display with 2K resolution and a diagonal of 6.7 inches. Furthermore, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the new top-of-the-range chipset from Qualcomm, will be able to manage the operation of the device, ready to land on various Android flagships in the first quarter of the current year. The SoC will be joined by 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 / 256GB of internal UFS 3.1 memory.

The spec sheet will also include a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The operating system will be Android 12. After the official presentation on January 11th, the new OnePlus smartphone will go on sale immediately in China while for its debut in Europe it will probably be necessary to wait until the end of the first quarter of the year.
