Wedbush managing director and senior equity analyst Daniel Ives said recently that Tesla’s Austin, Texas factory will begin mass production in the next 7-10 days. Ives said: Based on the company’s analysis, the current paperwork has been completed, clearing the way for production, and Tesla will likely start Model Y production in the next 7 to 10 days. We believe in the Model Y stamping machine and testing. It’s in place.
On January 4, Travis spokesman Hector Nieto also said that certain areas of the factory had received compliance certificates from the local fire chief, possibly referring to the manufacture of the Model Y workshop.
The Texas factory is still very busy, and according to recent drone footage, some equipment can be seen being loaded into an area of the factory that is presumed to be Cybertruck’s production floor.
Based on our analysis of Giga Austin it appears paperwork is now clearing the way for Model Y production starting over the next 7-10 days. We believe the stamping machines for Model Y and testing is already in place and mostly completed, green light for Tesla to kick off Austin

It is reported that the Texas plant is expected to cover an area of 4.28 million square feet, and will first start production of the Model Y, followed by the Cybertruck, and is expected to produce other models such as the Model 3 and Tesla Semi in the future.
In addition to the Texas plant, Tesla’s Berlin plant has delayed production due to a lengthy approval process, although it is said to be in the final stages.
