It’s been a while since Microsoft gave concrete Xbox Game Pass numbers, but as part of today’s announcement, they were hidden in a press release: They’ve now cracked 25 million users.
Since April 2021, two million new users have joined (certainly more, a few will have canceled their subscription). That’s not as much as I would have expected now, between January and April 2021 alone it was five million.
In the summer of 2020 it was still 15 million and the Bethesda takeover should have provided some of the push. The Activision Blizzard takeover will certainly provide a much bigger push, I assume.
