With the advent of 2022, it is already time to start thinking about a Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, a probable new top-of-the-range tablet of the brand. The new device is starting to emerge among various technical specifications, then waiting to learn more about price and release date.
Possible design and technical specifications
What does the new tablet look like? Unfortunately, we still do not have images or renderings to give a face to Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro, but it is not excluded that it will remain similar to the Pad 5 range, although with a rougher and metal frame. We can say this because, from a leak, we have the possible measures: 287 x 188 x 6.7 mm. This brings us a wider and slightly thinner, but obviously heavier tablet, as we would be around 569 grams.
The reason for this growth in size is to be attributed to the 12.6 ″ display, which most rumors want OLED LTPO at 120 Hz and 2.5K resolution (2560 x 1600 pixels). In addition to what has already been said, this time we also have leaks regarding the chipset, which in this round would be a Snapdragon 888, thus improving the Snapdragon 870 of the previous one. Finally, the fingerprint sensor would be placed on the side.
We do not have concrete details on the software and camera, but for this reason, we do not expect any upheavals, with MIUI 13 and sensors similar to those of the Pad 5 Pro.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro – Possible price and release date
As it has not even been announced yet, for Pad 6 Pro only hypotheses can be made at the moment for the release date, which we can expect for March / April 2022. For the price, considering the upgrade of the possible specifications, we obviously expect it to be higher than the previous ones.
