At least this is what emerges from the analysis of the code of the latest beta version of Google Messages carried out by the staff of 9to5Google, who found references to a new drawer for navigation, in which the following sections should find space in order: Messages, Starred, Archived, Spam and blocked, Device pairing, Choose a theme and Mark all as read.

But this is not the only news that the Google Messages developer team is working on, which is also planning a significant improvement in video sharing and this is thanks to integration with Google Photos.

When users want to share a video within a conversation when the selector is selected the app shows a tab with which it explains the new option: in practice, you can keep the sharpness of the video when sending links to Google Photos in MMS conversations.

Once this section is enabled, selecting a file will make it appear in the compose field with a Google Photos badge and file size. This system will work for both videos and images.
