If you use the Edge Canary version on multiple devices and use the same Microsoft account on all of them, you won’t have to go through the pain of installing all your important websites as web apps when switching between devices.

That is to say, after logging in to your Microsoft account, the Edge Canary browser will automatically sync all your web applications. Once you switch to another device running the same version of Edge, it’s really easy to install those web apps with just one click.

As you can see in the screenshot above, the previously installed website is now greyed out and ready to be installed on another computer. You can click the “Install” button that appears to the right of each available app, and you’ll get back all those web apps you originally installed on a different computer.

You can find a list of available apps in the “Your available apps” section of the apps page. As mentioned, the feature is only available to Edge Canary users. However, as this is a “controlled rollout”, this feature is not available to all users of the Canary channel.
