Samsung’s high-end flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra, has been accepted for pre-order, and this device is arguably the most powerful tablet in the Android camp. It uses a 14.6-inch notch screen with a resolution of 2960 × 1848, equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8, with up to 16GB of memory, 512GB of storage, a battery of 11200mAh, and support for the S Pen stylus.
With the launch of the new product, Dan Seifert, editor of technology media The Verge, found that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series did not have a charger in the box.
Samsung’s US official website shows that the accessories in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 series box include card pins and data cables. The top version of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra also comes standard with an S Pen stylus. The price is $1399.99. Not just a tablet, Samsung’s latest flagship Galaxy S22 series in the US doesn’t come with a charger as standard.
In contrast, Apple, which pioneered the trend of no chargers, has included chargers as standard on its own iPad products. Apple’s official website shows that Apple’s iPad mini 6, iPad Pro and other products are equipped with 20W chargers as standard.
