Sony will probably start promoting their next AAA game in the next few weeks. According to a Bloomberg reporter, “God of War: Ragnarok” will not be delayed until 2023 and will be released this year.
Sony just released Horizon: West End, before God of War 4 on PC, Uncharted: A Rogue Legacy Collection on PS5, and GT Racing 7 early next month. It will be launched on two generations of PS consoles.
We’ve witnessed a very tight few weeks for PS5 and PS4 fans, but clearly, this isn’t the end of Sony’s big production. A player recently posted on Reddit asking if God of War 5 might be delayed until 2023. Bloomberg reporter Jason Schreier responded to this question: Nope.
The Bloomberg reporter has a good relationship with employees of Sony’s Santa Monica studio, and he is also the first to reveal that God of War: Ragnarok has been delayed until 2022.
So his answer is equivalent to giving fans reassurance. It’s very likely that Sony will start to heavily promote God of War: Ragnarok in the coming months.
