The EU and Russian research institutes will no longer be contracted for the four previously planned collaborative research projects under the Horizon Europe program.
Among the 86 scientific research projects under the “Horizon 2020” program started in 2014, 78 Russian scientific research institutions are involved. The EU will no longer implement the agreement with these Russian research institutions and will no longer pay the Russian side.
