Another new record: Elden Ring Steam online peak exceeds 950,000

According to SteamDB, the online peak value of Elden Ring on Steam reached a new record, with 953,426 simultaneous online players in the second weekend of release, beating Amazon’s online game New World (913,634).

It became the sixth-most-played game of all time on Steam and the second-most-played single-player game on Steam, behind Cyberpunk 2077, which held the record at 1,054,388.

Analyst Benji Sales said that under normal circumstances, most games’ online peaks are in the first weekend of release, but Elden Ring very rarely ushered in a new peak in the second week of release.

It is worth mentioning that, on the second day of the release of Elden Ring, the online peak value of Steam exceeded 860,000, which is nearly 7 times that of “Sekiro”.

The online peak of Elden Ring surpassing 1 million is close at hand, and we will wait and see whether soul players can make efforts to break through this new milestone this weekend.
