Overwatch 2 will soon have a beta, announced today by Blizzard arriving in late April 2022, with several details related to this trial version which represents a first real taste of the new chapter, long-awaited by the wide community of the game.
The recent rumors about the arrival of the trial version are therefore confirmed, with the game director Aaron Keller who explained several features of Overwatch 2 and in particular of this beta test in the video diary shown above, with the beta that presents itself. quite rich in elements, at least considering that it is an absolute first taste.
These are the features announced for the Overwatch 2 beta, coming in late April 2022:
- Focused on PvP, 5v5
- New hero: Sojourn
- 4 new maps (Circuit Royal – Escort, Midtwon – Hybrid, New Queen Street – Push, Colosseo – Push)
- New mode: Push
- Reworkings applied to well-known heroes (Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion, Sombra)
- New Ping system
Apparently, PvP and PvE will be released separately, switching to PvP first in order to shorten the waiting time. PvP testing begins this week but will initially only be available to Overwatch pro players and developers, as well as other small groups.
