Probably in the North the weather will not be the best or, at least, it will be so in the parts of OnePlus: its next smartphones of the OnePlus Nord family have been hit by a real rain of rumors. The protagonists are OnePlus Nord 2T, Nord 3 and Nord CE 2 Lite.
OnePlus Nord 2T, Nord 3 and Nord CE 2 Lite: the rumors are raining
In addition to what has been leaked so far in the last few weeks, a tweet from the usual Shadow_Leak arrives that reveals what seem to be the main features of the next Nord 2T, Nord 3 and Nord CE 2 Lite, a mid-range Android smartphone from OnePlus. All three smartphones are expected to arrive with Android 12 and, consequently, we imagine with the OxygenOS 12.
OnePlus Nord 2T
The well-known leaker had already talked about the next OnePlus Nord 2T and confirms the key specifications previously communicated.
- Display: 6.43 ” OLED with Full HD + resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate
- SoC: MediaTek Dimensity 1300
- Rear Camera: 50MP + 8MP (Ultra Wide) + 2MP
- Battery: 4500mAh with support for fast charging at 80W
- OS: Android 12 (probably with OxygenOS 12)
From an image leaked earlier, we know the likely rear design of the smartphone, which features a particular finish (sandstone type) and a rather generous camera module with a matte blue finish, which houses two showy rings that contain the three cameras (the main in the upper ring and the two small secondary ones in the lower ring).
OnePlus Nord 3
According to what has been leaked so far, the successor of the OnePlus Nord 2, or OnePlus Nord 3, could be very similar to the Realme GT NEO 3, a smartphone that has officially arrived today.
- Display: 6.7 ” OLED with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate
- SoC: MediaTek Dimensity 8100
- Rear camera: triple with 50 MP main
- Battery: 4500mAh with 150W fast charging support
- OS: Android 12 (probably with OxygenOS 12 )
It will be curious to discover the aesthetic choices related to the next leading exponent of the OnePlus Nord series and, above all, to understand if OnePlus, like Realme, will also decide to develop a version with a larger battery but with fast charging at 80 W.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite
OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite has already leaked several renderings and the probable specifications that Shadow_Leak further confirms.
The younger brother of the OnePlus Nord 2 CE 5G would differ from the other two for a couple of peculiar characteristics: although it is the only one in the package equipped with a Qualcomm SoC and not a MediaTek one, it should also be the only one not to be able to count on an OLED display.
- Display: 6.58 ” LCD with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate
- SoC: Qualcomm Snapdragon 695
- Rear camera: 64MP + 2MP + 2MP (from previous rumors)
- Battery: 5000mAh with 33W fast charging support
- OS: Android 12 (probably with OxygenOS 12)
When will the OnePlus Nord 2T, Nord 3 and Nord CE 2 Lite arrive?
We do not have exact dates on when the new OnePlus smartphones will be presented but, according to what has been leaked so far, we can try to give some indications.
- OnePlus Nord 2T is expected between April and May.
- OnePlus Nord 3 is expected for the second quarter of the year, between May and June;
- OnePlus Nord CE 2 Lite should be the first of the three to debut, with the debut scheduled for the month of March.
Furthermore, there is no indication on the markets to which the three smartphones will be destined: we will see if they will arrive globally or if, as often happens, they will be exclusive to some markets.
