God of War for PC: Patch 1.09 available, here are the news

Patch 1.09 is now available for the PC version of God of War. According to the notes of the update, the update adds the possibility of configuring the controls so that aiming and defense with the shield can be activated and deactivated by pressing the dedicated key (without holding down, therefore) and solves some problems, such as application crash. New functions:

  • Aiming and blocking can now be configured as a toggle command (press to activate, press again to deactivate).
  • Triple Buffering can be enabled to reduce cases of micro-stutter at the cost of a small increase in latency.
  • GPU memory usage is now included in the video settings to aid in troubleshooting performance issues.

Fix

  • Memory values ​​will now be detected correctly when using an integrated GPU.
  • Crashes will no longer occur if a GPU reports invalid memory values.
  • Some gameplay systems will no longer cause intermittent crashes.
  • Implemented the elimination of some small objects to reduce the number of elements processed by the CPU.
