It’s called Vidhance Photo Zoom Stabilization and it’s a solution that should guarantee users a noticeable improvement in the quality of the images captured with the zoom at the highest levels available.
This new Imint solution was developed using the Vidhance Video Stabilization 4 engine, a technology with which some important innovations are introduced, such as better motion detection, lower power consumption and better memory management.

According to the software house, Vidhance Photo Zoom Stabilization for smartphones will allow users to take advantage of the zoom and go to high levels without having to worry about keeping the phone sufficiently stable.
In presenting the new solution, the CEO of Imint, Andreas Lifvendahl, specifies that the cameras of modern smartphones allow images to be enlarged but, as the zoom level increases, it becomes increasingly difficult to keep the phone sufficiently still, especially if the subject is moving: well, Vidhance Photo Zoom Stabilization should be able to provide valuable support in these use cases.
According to Imprint, this technology guarantees high-quality photos with high zoom levels and also helps stabilize the preview function in smartphones to allow users to see exactly what they are photographing.
This solution is compatible with existing optical image stabilization (OIS) ones and, again according to Imint, it is also energy-efficient and uses only a few memory resources of a smartphone.
Leading smartphone manufacturers, such as Motorola, Xiaomi and Vivo, already use Imint’s suite of video stabilization solutions, and these companies will likely also use the new photo stabilization solution on their devices. Unfortunately, at present, there is no information on the first models that will be supported but we will soon know more.
