In Apex Legends, one of the legends, Machine Girl Lampart has been in a state of repeated balancing trying to make it more in line with the version. The character was launched in a weaker situation and had relatively few changes (except for the huge change in the ultimate move while mobile). Officials have decided to give players who want Lampard a boost one more chance. Lampard’s sudden boost last week only lasted for a short while before recovering. The latest leaks suggest that Lampart’s biggest change could become.
Apex Legends leaker Shrugtal shared news about Lampart’s future enhancements, specifically her E ability Enhanced Bunker. The latest update will significantly enhance Enhanced Cover, giving it an advantage in Apex Legends’ current mobile-focused environment.
Enhanced Cover will receive changes in two key parts: First, the cover’s initial health set by the Enhanced Cover skill will be increased from 40 to 120. Forced Cover” will gradually increase health when placed, and if the player reacts quickly enough, the cover can be destroyed before it is successfully established. But for Lampart players, this makes cover difficult to use in combat and easy to target. After increasing the initial health, the cover is less likely to be destroyed when using skills.
Rampart buffs for the Amped Cover in the files that didn’t make the final cut and are currently not in-game:
Initial building health: 40 -> 120
Upper arm shield extension delay: 0.25 -> 0.10
Front armor deploy duration: 0.5 -> 0.3

The remaining 3 changes are focused on the deployment speed of enhanced cover. The shield deployment delay of the top half of the cover has been reduced from 0.25 seconds to 0.1 seconds, the front armor deployment time has been reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.3 seconds, and the placement delay has been reduced from 0.5 seconds to 0.3 seconds. While a single change may not be noticeable to the player, the overall speed of the “enhanced cover” from being placed to fully deployed has increased by 0.55 seconds, which is more noticeable in the heat of battle.
These enhancements are not final yet, as they have not yet been deployed to the official game. This may be because these buffs still need time to adjust to avoid the buffed Lampart being too unbalanced. But Lampard fans shouldn’t have to wait too long.
