It is said that the new emojis have now appeared for the first time in a beta version for Android. They should then appear on the devices of more and more users in the next few weeks. I’ve been able to select the new emojis via Gboard for a few weeks now and WhatsApp has recognized them correctly ever since.
Another test is the new sharing for larger files. Previously the limit was only 100 megabytes, but in the future, it should even be 2 gigabytes per file. This definitely makes WhatsApp ready for more extensive file sharing.
