TikTok’s 2022 revenue is expected to exceed $11 billion, more than Twitter and Snap combined

According to insider Intelligence, a market research firm, advertising revenue on short video platform TikTok may grow twice to more than $11 billion in 2022, more than the combined revenue of Twitter and Snap advertising in the social media field.

TikTok is one of the most popular social media apps in the world, with over 1 billion active users. Debra Aho Williamson, an analyst at Insider Intelligence, said: “TikTok’s user base has exploded over the past few years, and users have spent a lot of time on the app. ”

Insider Intelligence expects Twitter and Snapchat to generate $5.58 billion and $4.86 billion in advertising revenue in 2022, respectively, and the sum of the two is still less than TikTok’s $11 billion.

Analysts say nearly $6 billion in TikTok advertising revenue is expected to come from the U.S. market.
