OnePlus has planned new products, though not directly for us. There is one event for China and one for India and the OnePlus Ace is one of the new models. It’s coming next week, but has already been officially shown:
We get two colors and an angular design. At the end of the day, this is an Oppo Reno model, just with a OnePlus logo on the back. And since people in China even use ColorOS, the effort should be limited.
But there are two things that are still interesting here, apart from the new position of the logo at the back: There is now a hole in the middle of the display and OnePlus has completely deleted the alert slider on this model.

So is this just an exception, because you didn’t want to make too much effort when you got the Reno from Oppo? Hard to say, because the OnePlus 10R should also lack the Alert Slider. So was the OnePlus 10 Pro the last model with it?
We can’t say that yet, but I would almost suspect it. But before drawing a final conclusion, we should wait for the OnePlus 10 Ultra, which is expected in the second half of the year. If the Alert Slider is also missing here, that’s it.
