We report here again and again about the new games for Netflix Games and as part of the last announcement (game + matching series), the company has now revealed that there are still a lot of games planned until the end of the year.
Netflix: About 50 games in the first year
Netflix wants to have a total of about 50 games for Android and iOS in its portfolio by the end of 2022. Netflix Games launched at the end of 2021 and 50 games would be quite a number I wouldn’t have expected when the platform was launched.
Quantity is not the same as quality, especially with Netflix Games, the offer is rather poor for me. But I’m also amazed that you are so active and would have expected a maximum of 20 games, after which you then press for a break again.
And what about games for other platforms? It says that “at the moment” they are concentrating on Android and iOS, but this is not excluded. Netflix Gaming is an experiment for the service, which is still very open.
Let’s see where Netflix’s journey leads. A second Xbox Game Pass is not currently planned, cloud gaming does not seem to be an issue either. But who knows what the conclusion will be after a year and what is planned then.
