Let’s go back to talking about the first smartwatch of the Mountain View giant, the highly anticipated Google Pixel Watch that is increasingly attracting all the spotlight.
A few weeks after the official announcement (expected on the occasion of Google I/O 2022), the number of rumors concerning the first Google smartwatch is growing exponentially: after having been able to appreciate its design, thanks to a public appearance dating back to a few days ago, today we learn new rumors about the availability and price of the smartwatch.
Google Pixel Watch: details on price and availability leaked
Through a post on Twitter, the well-known leaker Yogesh Brar revealed some new (and so far unknown) details about the upcoming Google Pixel Watch, asserting that these come from a “relatively new source”.
Starting from the end, the most interesting news contained in the tweet is that relating to the selling price of the Pixel Watch: according to reports, Google should place it on the market at a price between $ 300 and $ 400, placing it as a direct competitor of the Apple Watch series 7 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic.
The fact that we are talking about “limited release” suggests, instead, that the smartwatch will be treated like the phones of the Pixel line, arriving only in some selected markets and not on a global scale.
Closed the chapter availability and prices, taking a step back, the leaker offers other interesting ideas on the next Google Pixel Watch, specifically concerning the collaboration between Google and Samsung for its realization (remember that the two brands have also collaborated for the realization of Wear OS 3).
According to the source cited by Brar, Google Pixel Watch will have the same sensors present on Samsung’s Galaxy Watch (ECG and others) and will arrive with Wear OS 3.1 on board, news to tell the truth already leaked previously.
Finally, the first smartwatch Made by Google should arrive in two different sizes (case, ed) accompanied by at least four colors for the straps.
The expectation is growing. Together with him, on the occasion of the Google I/O 2022 (scheduled for 11 and 12 May 2022) we will get to know the new google pixel 6a mid-range smartphone, expected to go alongside the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro brothers and complete the range.
