Activision has 3,000 employees working on Call of Duty

According to the latest reports, in Activision’s annual report to investors, more than 3,000 people are currently involved in the development of the “Call of Duty” series of games. This represents 31% of its current workforce of about 9,800 employees, and half of its total developer headcount (6,800).

In the same annual report, Activision said it was “working on the most ambitious plan in Call of Duty history” and announced that a sequel would return to the ultra-popular Modern Warfare franchise.
