After providing some previews last month, the guys from Amazon Games and Smilegate RPG said they were finally ready to offer all Lost Ark players the opportunity to participate in Valtan, the first Legion Raid of the western version of the MMORPG.
Legion Raids are very challenging endgame activities that ask players to team up to defeat powerful bosses in multi-stage battles. The target of this raid, expected later this month, is the mighty demon commander Valtan.
“Legion Raids are challenging and time-consuming,” warns Amazon Games, but luckily players will be able to take advantage of a series of checkpoints (called gates) along with the progression of the activity. Valtan, specifically, is an eight-player Legion Raid featuring two gates, introducing a host of new mechanics and a new level of gear rarity, the Relic. To participate in the normal version, an item level of 1415 will be required, while the difficult variant will require a value of 1445.
The May update of Lost Ark will also bring with it new cosmetic items, a series of updates aimed at improving the game experience, the Deskaluda Guardian Raid, new activities for the Guilds, new quests and the new advanced Destroyer class.
Equipped with a very powerful (but slow) hammer, the characters belonging to this class promise to contribute to the fights with a high rate of destruction. They will join the other warriors – the Berserker, the Paladin and the Gunlancer – placing themselves as the fourth Warrior Advanced Class.
