One UI Watch Beta update is coming to Samsung Galaxy Watch 4

Samsung releases public beta versions of the One UI interface for its smartphones and tablets, however, the company has announced a beta update program for its smartwatches as well.

Through its official forum the South Korean company today announced that it will soon release the One UI Watch Beta update for Samsung Galaxy Watch4 and Galaxy Watch4 Classic.

These two wearable devices will receive the One UI Watch Beta update in South Korea on June 2, 2022, however, the update will be limited to the standard versions of the two smartwatches, so the special edition ones are excluded.

Samsung has yet to reveal what new features or design changes will be part of the next version of the One UI Watch. Since the release of the Samsung Galaxy Watch4, the company has added several new watch faces, better fitness tracking, and other features via software updates.

As usual, registrations to participate in the One UI Watch Beta test will be accepted through the Samsung Members app. South Korean users can register by checking the Samsung Members app on the smartphone paired with the smartwatch, tapping on the program banner, entering an email ID registered with the Samsung Account, and accepting consent.

Within the next few days, the update could be extended to other markets including China, Europe, India and the United States.
