10 days after the tvOS 15.5 updates, Apple today released the official version of tvOS 15.5.1. This is a small update for the tvOS operating system that was first released in September 2021.
tvOS 15.5.1 is available for OTA download on Apple TV via “Settings – System – Software Update”. Apple TV users with automatic software updates enabled can also automatically upgrade to tvOS 15.5.1.
Apple’s tvOS updates are usually smaller in size and focus on internal bug fixes, performance updates, and small tweaks. Apple has not provided detailed release notes for the tvOS 15.5.1 update, but the Apple support page shows that tvOS 15.5.1 fixes an issue where music may stop playing for a short period of time.
