Windows 11 22H2 The number of pre-installed applications is not less than 35

The RTM version of Windows 11 has been confirmed as Build 22621, but Microsoft has not officially announced the exact time when it will be rolled out to production devices. Technology media Deskmodder analyzed the pre-installed applications of Windows 11 22H2 and found that the number of pre-installed applications is no less than 35.

In other words, when you install Windows 11 version 22H2 on your device, the OS comes with 35 apps by default, and that’s not counting Microsoft Edge, language packs, and the C++ runtime.

Fortunately, it’s easy to remove these preinstalled apps. The outlet claims that most preinstalled programs can be uninstalled simply by right-clicking the app’s icon in the start menu and selecting the option to uninstall those apps.

However, nine applications required additional steps, such as moving to PowerShell, before being completely removed. The good news is that they can still be deleted, although the process may be a little too complicated for beginners looking for a more straightforward way to delete them.

Version 22H2 of Windows 11 is a major feature update expected to roll out in the second half of the year, possibly in September. Until then, Microsoft will be entirely focused on polishing the experience, so upcoming builds in the Windows Insider program, especially in the Beta and RP channels, will boil down to cumulative updates that add extra polish to this build.
