Photos of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 battery reveal larger than expected capacity

It was previously reported that the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 will bring a small upgrade in battery capacity. Now, the battery combination has shown itself, and it turns out that it will change more than expected. We know that the battery pack of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 consists of two cells, both of which are made by Samsung SDI.

One is rated at 2555mAh and the other is 1040mAh. This brings the total capacity to 3595mAh, but the typical capacity will likely be marked as 3700mAh, which is 400mAh more than the Z Flip3’s battery, which is 12% more capacity.

Although 400 mAh may be disliked by many people, considering that the 3D rendering shows that the size of the mobile phone is roughly the same (slightly thicker – 7.2 mm, higher than 6.9 mm), the progress is still relatively obvious. The total battery capacity is the same as the Galaxy S22.

Rumor has it that the Galaxy Z Flip4 will get another level of battery upgrade, with charging speeds up to 25W (15W for the Z Flip3), which is also similar to the Galaxy S22.

Real-world photos of the new Flip leaked earlier today show a larger lid display and a redesigned hinge. The Galaxy Z Flip4 and Z Fold4 are expected to be released in early August, but Samsung has already started the process of mass production, which has led to an endless stream of information leaks.
