Google has been planning the massive expansion of its Messages app for several months, but the planned innovations are only reaching us very slowly. This should be possible for videos and photos alike. Recipients can use the link received to view the media directly from the photos cloud.
New magic key for quick access
A very smart innovation is the automatic suggestion of the right action. Based on analyzed data, Messages should be able to suggest a suitable action for new messages. For example that you probably want to favorite a new message, so the star button is offered to you. Or that you want to create an appointment based on a message, which is why the right button can be seen.
I’m curious to see how well this works in everyday life and, to be honest, I would like to see the same for Gmail .
Inbox splits your messages
The new inbox has not yet been distributed extensively. It should smartly split your incoming messages into individual categories. There should be one-time passwords, offers, payments, personal messages and other categories. This creates order in the previously long list of different SMS/RCS messages.

Messages will also inform you in the future about messages that may still have a pending reply. Messages will be able to automatically delete one-time passwords after 24 hours and will remind you of your contacts’ birthdays.
