iPhone 14 series battery details leaked

Gone are the days when many owners of an iPhone had to choose whether to use it sparingly to get to the evening or resign themselves to the mid-day recharge. Of course: those who work with smartphones can have difficulties even with the latest generations, but that iPhone battery last longer than in the past, thanks to the larger size, is an incontrovertible fact. And luckily, more than a few Apple customers would say.

With the iPhone 14 autonomy anxiety should not be back in fashion, especially because the iPhone mini will almost certainly disappear from the range. In short, the next ones should all have batteries of sufficient size to allow in most cases to “close” the day, and thanks to an indiscretion from China we can try to give a numerical dimension to the mAh capacity of the individual models.

It should be taken as a useful indication to get an idea, no more than this: after all, it is still a rumor that, especially in terms of numbers, is not unlikely to be denied by the facts. But the portrait that comes out of the mirror is likely.

The standard iPhone 14 battery is credited with a few tens of mAh more than the iPhone 13, while the most substantial increase would be the iPhone 14 Pro for whose battery, compared to that of the predecessor, would arrive a hundred mAh more. The expected drop for the iPhone 14 Pro Max is imperceptible, while nothing can be said about the iPhone 14 Max since it is a brand new model.

Here is a summary of the mAh values of the batteries of the iPhone 14:

  • iPhone 14: 3,279 mAh, instead of the 3,227 mAh of the iPhone 13
  • iPhone 14 Max: 4,325 mAh
  • iPhone 14 Pro: 3,200 mAh, instead of the 3,095 mAh of the iPhone 13 Pro
  • iPhone 14 Pro Max: 4,323 mAh, instead of the 4,352 mAh of the iPhone 13 Pro Max

If the values were confirmed, the model with the most generous battery would-be iPhone 14 Max. The difference with the Pro Max would amount to just 2 mAh, practically nothing, so the autonomy could be very similar if not greater on the cheaper model, in case Apple decides to keep the refresh rate at 60 Hz.

Apple would have decided to differentiate the standard iPhone 14 from the Pro as it had never done before. But at least one novelty should all converge: the selfie camera, which according to the well-known analyst Ming-Chi Kuo should change (for the better, needless to say) after having remained the same from the iPhone 11 onwards.
