Tesla invited all shareholders (including shareholders as of June 6) to participate in the 2022 annual general meeting. According to the latest reports, Tesla will hold its annual shareholder meeting at its Gigafactory in Texas at 4:30 pm local time on August 4, 2022.
The meeting will be broadcast live, and shareholders selected by random lottery will be allowed to attend the meeting in person. The meeting agenda showed that Tesla’s board sought to increase the number of authorized common shares to 4 billion.
It is reported that Tesla’s shareholder meeting was previously held at the Computer History Museum in Mountain View, California, but it will be held in Fremont, California in 2020, and last year in the super factory in Austin, Texas.
Tesla’s 2022 annual shareholder meeting in Texas will be more convenient for Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who moved from California to Texas in December 2020.
