Google rolled out Pixel 3 and 3XL one more update with VoLTE roaming support

Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3XL are out of the Android update period but Google released 2 updates after the period end of these devices. Google’s factory images page today lists a total of four updates for the Pixel 3 and 3 XL. Each phone has a global build and another for “Telstra, Optus, Vodafone AU.”

According to the latest report, this update for the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3a is still based on Android 12. Talking to this update, Google released VoLTE roaming support to its 2018 flagship devices. It comes as 3G networks are being turned off in the United States this year.

Pixel 3 XL Key Points:

The Pixel 3XL, like the name, suggests is bigger than the Pixel 3. It has similar build quality with a bigger 6.3-inch QHD+ display and a notch. It has an aluminum frame and the back is made out of Corning Gorilla 5. The smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 845 processor and has a Titan M security chip onboard.

The Pixel 3 XL has 4GB of RAM and comes in 64GB and 128GB storage options. It sports a single 12.2-megapixel camera setup at the back and has a dual 8-megapixel selfie camera setup consisting of a regular lens and a wide-angle lens. The phone runs on stock Android 9 Pie and has a 3450mAh battery.
