Google Pixel users are probably familiar with their home screen widget. In Germany, this is called live view, in English-speaking areas the widget is called “At a Glance”. You can customize the live view by tapping the existing widget and then going to the settings via the “Customize” menu.
For example, you can deactivate or activate that people are displayed in front of the door when they press a Nest doorbell, you can also find timers, bedtime, fitness information and more.
The Pixel’s At a Glance widget is preparing to add three new features:
– Cross-device timer to show timer info from Google Home devices
– Ridesharing service to show the status of your rides

Google plans currently the expansion of the information that can be displayed, but this does not seem relevant for Germany at the moment. There is the option of displaying information about food deliveries (Doordash) or driving services (Lyft, Uber). Also included: is the display of cross-device timers to display timer information from Google Home devices.
