Google integrates Stadia feature that no one will ever see

It’s not like Stadia won’t continue to expand with small innovations. But you can’t reach new customers with it either. A new discovery in the source codes causes laughter. Stadia is now known for the fact that its excellent technology does not appeal to private customers.

There are too few games, no AAA draft horses, no own titles, and no marketing. Google has put Stadia on hold internally, and hardly any fresh money is flowing into the project. The marketing of the streaming technology to other groups is now more important for the group.

The new report also allows for speculation

Nevertheless, there are a few innovations at regular intervals. For example for the Stadia app, in the source code of which something new has already been discovered. For example, a new alert when Stadia servers are overloaded due to too many players. Which doesn’t make much sense at first glance, because where are “too many players” supposed to come from at Stadia?

“There are too many players in your area right now, so you’re playing on a server that’s further away than usual. You can continue to play, but you may encounter some problems.”

Or is Google less afraid of an onslaught of new players, but perhaps reducing the server technology used for Stadia to a minimum? If there is less capacity, the remaining Stadia customers could fill it up faster. A good reason to file a corresponding message.

A big run on Stadia or Immersive Stream is hard to be expected

I can hardly imagine more load from too many players and also not from Immersive Stream. The use of streaming technology by other companies is certainly very manageable for the foreseeable future. The report is only exciting for regions in which the Google cloud is not well positioned and generally has low capacities.

For me, Stadia has lost its last appeal because the new versions of even simple sports games are not released. For example the newer parts of the Formula 1 series. I’m also starting to worry whether I’ll be able to play new FIFA titles ( or EA Sports FC ) on Stadia in the future.
