According to data mining of the latest patch for Dying Light 2, the first major expansion will be a gladiator-themed piece. YouTuber Bub has found a new location in the new patch, unfinished dialogue and even an animated storyboard describing the cutscenes of the expansion.
Included in these files are multiple new NPCs, all of which are gladiator-themed, and key dialogue clips and storyboards also suggest that gladiator combat will be the focus of the expansion.
Part of the DLC appears to take place in a large theater. Bub found an as-yet unrendered version of the place, including several floors and a basement prison. Most of the files appear unfinished, and most of the dialogue is low-quality recorded placeholders (in Polish).
