Last year Samsung chose 11 August, and this year it seems that Wednesday 10 August will be the date of the traditional summer Galaxy Unpacked event, as already anticipated by the rumors. This is not yet an official confirmation, but we are close: to return to the topic, and confirm the indications already expressed by the June indiscretions is Evan Blass (known as EvLeaks), who is usually a sentence on this kind of thing.
Blass shared on Twitter what appears to be a promotional image of the event, even if appropriately modified: the important information, however, is clearly visible, namely the writing that reads clearly “Aug 10.2022”.
For the rest, Blass preferred to blur the shape of the folding smartphone visible in the background, which with its silhouette outlines almost two hands (which, moreover, in a hypothetical dial could point to 8 and 10, respectively), and with the light.
The screen turns on the date of the appointment. As for the identity of the foldable, it could be either a Galaxy Z Flip 4 seen from the side or a Galaxy Z Fold 4 whose lower part is framed – but the fold is closer to how Samsung usually represents the model. clamshell, therefore the Flip.

Once again, therefore, there will be a Galaxy Unpacked under the umbrella: we have the date and only the precise time is missing, to know if technology enthusiasts will really follow it on the deckchair and under the beating sun. or instead in the evening, with the favor of shade and milder temperatures.
And speaking of shadows, on the products that will be the protagonists of the event there are now a few: we know that we will see sure Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4 and the Galaxy Watch 5 and Galaxy Watch 5 Pro watches.
THE PROTAGONISTS OF UNPACKED: WHAT WE KNOW
In recent weeks, information on each of Samsung’s summer news has not been lacking. And so we know that Galaxy Z Fold 4 – beyond the upgrade under the body – will be aesthetically very similar to the predecessor, but a little wider, and with the body in different colors.

SAMSUNG OFFICIALIZES THE DATE
One day after Evan Blass’ anticipation, Samsung’s officialization arrives via a cryptic tweet: the Galaxy Unpacked will be held on August 10th. The encoded message is solved by placing the numbers 08-10-22 inside the spaces with the corresponding colors.
Once the puzzle is completed, you will get the date of August 10, 2022, in response to the question: “When will something greater arrive?” The colors of the teaser could also be part of the Bespoke customization options that will accompany the Z Fold4 and Z Flip4.
As for Galaxy Watch 5 and Watch 5 Pro, however, the novelties already begin in the denomination, with the top model that in fact abandons the denomination “Classic” seen on the generation launched in 2021 to adopt the “Pro” one. And together with the suffix, the distinctive feature of the Classic also disappears, that is the physical bezel: even on Pro, as on Galaxy Watch 5, the bezel will be digital.
