According to the latest reports and previous rumors, Microsoft is working on a Gamescom announcement for the coming days and it will be related to Xbox Game Pass.
A possible announcement could be Elden Ring, but the game will probably only be available in the Ultimate subscription. Although it is not entirely clear whether you can download it because the marketing could also be interpreted differently. Maybe the game will only end up as a cloud version in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

However, since the second half of the year looks rather meager for exclusive Xbox games and Microsoft wants to keep users safe, you will have to buy a few blockbusters for the Xbox Game Pass. In any case, Elden Ring would be a very good candidate, as the game is sure to garner much Game of the Year awards.
