After the massive leaks and rumors today Samsung officially released the Galaxy Z Fold 4, Galaxy Z Flip 4, Galaxy Watch 5, Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 & 5 Pro

Samsung is launching various new devices today, including two smartwatches Galaxy Watch5 and Galaxy Watch5 Pro. According to Samsung, the two wearables support fitness and wellness routines with customizable programs and powerful sensor technology.

The new models are supposed to bring more power than the previous models, but they are designed a little differently. Samsung markets the Galaxy Watch5 as an everyday all-rounder, while the Galaxy Watch5 Pro is advertised as Samsung’s most robust smartwatch with GPS functions to date.

The Galaxy Watch5 is equipped with Samsung’s BioActive sensor, which enables the monitoring of body function values. The BioActive Sensor, first used in the Galaxy Watch 4, combines three sensors on a single chip: optical heart rate, electrical heart signal and bioelectrical impedance analysis.

The BioActive Sensor can thus provide readings on heart rate, blood oxygen content and stress level. In addition, blood pressure can be measured and an EKG can be created. We’re talking about an MSRP of 229 euros for the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and there will be three colors at launch on August 26th: Zenith Grey, Bora Purple and Zenith White. Of course, it would be possible for Samsung to supply more colors later.

The advance sale starts today on the Samsung website, where you can currently also find the old Pro model, which has been significantly reduced in price. Let’s see whether Samsung discontinues the old version or continues to offer it in parallel.
