The December 22nd MID- Season event at Battlefield 2042

The upcoming mid-season event for Battlefield 2042 will take place on December 22. Similar to the “Liquidators” event in October, this one will run until January 10, 2023.

Similar to the Liquidators event, it is anticipated that the new event will introduce brand-new game modes, skins, and other cosmetics. Well-known Combat zone data miner temporal has proactively found eight new skins coming to the occasion. Four epic rarity skins will be included in one set of skins that are part of a Black Storm unit:

  • Death (Casper)
  • Pestilence (Falck)
  • War (Mackay)
  • Famine (Lis)

The remaining four skins will belong to a group known as the Nordvik Control Corps, and they will feature:

  • Bulwark (Boris)
  • Archangel (Sundance)
  • Dominant Eye (Lis)
  • Overseer (Irish)

The new event’s specifics have not yet been discovered or officially announced. However, based on the previous event announcement, we may see a new trailer on December 15 detailing the event’s content.

EA has stated that the next update, which is believed to be updated 3.2, will be released at the end of January following the mid-season event. The long-awaited reintroduction of Classes to Battlefield 2042 is coming in Update 3.2.

DICE has commented on Battlefield 2042 Specialists and its upcoming update:

“All our current Experts will be set inside characterized jobs with a bunch of contraptions and hardware that best suit their motivation in the combat zone. Battlefield 2042 Season 4 Specialist will be placed in the Recon class.”

Lastly, this will be the final Specialist we intend to bring to Battlefield 2042. The number of Specialists and the variety of gameplay that they will allow you to experience with the return to Classes and our roster of 14 in all.”
