Samsung Galaxy M62 grabbed June 2023 patch

Samsung is releasing a new firmware update for the Galaxy M62, signaling potential finality for the device line. While a successor, the Galaxy M63, has not been announced, and an M64 is not expected this year, Samsung remains committed to supporting the M62.

The update, labeled as the June 2023 update and carrying firmware version M625FXXU4CWF1, is currently limited to Bangladesh and Nepal but is expected to expand to other markets soon. While the official changelog primarily emphasizes stability improvements and enhanced security, the inclusion of the June 2023 security patch suggests additional enhancements.

Galaxy M62 users can download the update via the Settings app on their devices through the “Software update” menu or by following the update notification. Alternatively, users can visit the SamMobile website to download official firmware files for manual installation using a Windows PC.
