Curiously, the weather app only responds correctly on the second attempt, consistently thereafter. The initial touch input is frequently misinterpreted following extended periods of non-use, while subsequent interactions tend to be correctly recognized for a limited duration.
Despite the longevity and visibility of this issue, Google has been noticeably unresponsive, exhibiting a lack of urgency in rectifying the bug. However, there is a silver lining, as Google is reportedly engaged in developing a brand-new weather app for the Android platform, which may address these concerns in due course.
