Pixel Tablet receives July 2023 update, introducing two essential fixes

In line with its expanding product portfolio, Google now introduces a third form factor in the Pixel lineup with its latest tablet offering. The Pixel Tablet commences its monthly software update cycle with the rollout of the Android 13 July 2023 security patch.

The Pixel Tablet is now equipped with the latest security enhancements as it adopts the July 5, 2023 security patch level. Sporting the build number TQ3A.230705.001.B4, this Wi-Fi-only device does not feature any carrier or regional variants. Users can expect to receive three years of Android version updates, followed by an additional two years of security patches. Today’s over-the-air (OTA) update measures a modest 23.27MB.

Within the Android 13 July patch, a total of 26 security issues have been addressed, with 20 of them specifically targeting the 2023-07-05 patch. The vulnerabilities addressed range from moderate to critical, ensuring enhanced security measures for users.

Furthermore, the dedicated bulletin for Google devices outlines an additional 26 security fixes included in this update.
