The highly anticipated release of the Nothing Phone (2) is just around the corner, and recent leaks have provided valuable insight into the camera specifications of this upcoming device.

Renowned industry insider, Kamila Wojciechowska, has disclosed key details about the camera setup of the Nothing Phone (2). Notably, the primary sensor of the device will be the Sony IMX890, a remarkable 50MP sensor already employed by the OnePlus 11. Initial impressions of the Phone (2)’s camera samples have been positive, showcasing impressive image quality. Given the similarities in performance observed with the OnePlus 11, the shared employment of the Sony IMX890 sensor in both devices appears to be a sensible decision, leveraging the same physical hardware for optimal results.

Furthermore, Kamila revealed that the ultrawide camera on the Phone (2) will feature the Samsung JN1 sensor, just like its predecessor, the Phone (1). Boasting an impressive 50MP resolution and a wide-angle field of view (FOV) of 114 degrees, this sensor promises to capture expansive shots with remarkable clarity.

As for the selfie camera, the Phone (2) will sport a 32MP Sony IMX615 sensor, ensuring high-quality self-portraits with great detail and precision.

In addition to camera specifications, Kamila shared specific details about the display. The Nothing Phone (2) will incorporate a 1080×2412 resolution panel provided by Visionox, capable of a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, this display offers various low-power modes, including 1Hz, 10Hz, 24Hz, and 30Hz, to optimize energy consumption. To enhance security, the Phone (2) will be equipped with an optical fingerprint sensor, supplied by Goodix.

With these impressive camera specifications and notable display features, the Nothing Phone (2) is poised to make a substantial impact in the smartphone market upon its imminent release.
