Samsung Galaxy S23 FE receives WPC certification and official confirmation of imminent launch

Samsung recently unveiled its highly anticipated Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5 smartphones to much fanfare. However, the tech world’s attention now turns to the upcoming Galaxy S23 FE, which has received certification from the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC), along with a live photo showcasing its front panel.

During a conversation with Android Authority, Justin Hume, Vice President of Mobile at Samsung South Africa, confirmed that the Galaxy S23 FE is poised for an imminent release. He acknowledged the existence of a sizeable gap in the company’s product portfolio between the Galaxy A54 and Galaxy S23, and the forthcoming Galaxy S23 FE is intended to fill that void.

The Galaxy S23 FE is expected to feature the powerful Exynos 2200 chipset. However, there have also been reports indicating the possibility of a variant powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset for certain markets.

From the leaked images, it appears that the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE may sport a body similar to that of the Galaxy A54 while boasting a top-tier chipset under the hood. With its impending arrival, eager enthusiasts will soon have their curiosity satisfied, as they wait in anticipation for the official launch.
