The Galaxy S23 series grabbed their first software update

Samsung recently launched the Galaxy S23 series (Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and Galaxy S23 Ultra) with the One UI 5.1 update. Just a few hours ago, Google released the Android 14 Developer Preview 1 update for its Pixel devices and the Galaxy S23 series will be the first Samsung portfolio device to receive the Android 14 update.

Samsung already rolled out the February 2023 security patch update for some Galaxy devices including Galaxy Note 20 series. Verizon today released the first-ever software update for its newly launched Galaxy S23 series. As per the official details, Verizon provided this update in the US.

According to the latest report, the latest update for the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+ and the Galaxy S23 Ultra comes with the build number S911USQU1AWA6, S916USQU1AWA6, and S918USQU1AWA6 respectively.

  • Further improvements to performance.

How To Update:

  • Using two fingers, swipe down from the top of the screen, and then tap the Settings icon.
  • Swipe and then tap Software update or System updates. It will vary between models.
  • Tap Download and install, or Check for system updates. If an update is available it should begin downloading automatically, although you may need to tap Download now on some devices.
  • When the download is complete, follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
