Halo: Infinite will support cross-platform/progress multiplayer games

In a new article published by Xbox Wire, Microsoft detailed some of its commitments to PC games in 2021 and beyond, and revealed some new details of “Halo: Infinite“. The game has been confirmed to support multiplayer mode cross-platform and cross-progress, allowing PC players to play/fight against players on Xbox One and XboxSeries X/S.

In addition, the player’s multiplayer game progress can be shared between these three platforms. The multiplayer mode has previously been confirmed as a free game. Of course this is not all. The PC version will include unique features such as ultra-wide and ultimate ultra-widescreen support and three-button control. There will also be “various” advanced graphics options. Matt Booty, director of Xbox Game Studios, said: “We hope that “Halo” is very friendly to the PC gamer community.

Microsoft also briefly introduced the “Halo: Master Chief Collection”, which has been released for PC in 2019 for Xbox Game Pass users. The game already has more than 10 million players, “the vast majority of them are new players.” “Season Seven: Raven” started at the beginning of this month, adding new battle suit customization options, new maps for “Halo 3”, etc. content. Halo: Infinite is currently scheduled to be released on Xbox One, XSX/S and PC in the fall of 2021.
